The Mayo Clinic Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Board Review is designed for candidates preparing for certifying and maintenance of certification examinations in physical medicine and rehabilitation. This online content is intended to provide a comprehensive review of the topic areas and facilitate additional study if needed.
Faculty:
Cara Prideaux, M.D. is a physician in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Prideaux is an Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine. She is board certified in PM&R and subspecialty certified in Sports Medicine. Clinical interests include concussion and post-concussion syndrome, the female athlete and back pain in athletes. She received her medical degree from the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado and completed her residency training in PM&R at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She received fellowship training in Sports Medicine at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Jake Sellon, M.D. is a physician in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Sellon is an Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine. He is board certified in PM&R and subspecialty certified in Sports Medicine. He is the Program Director for the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Sellon serves as the Head Team Physician for Rochester Community Technical College Athletics and is the Medical Director of the Med City Marathon. His clinical and research interests include musculoskeletal ultrasound diagnostics and interventions, including regenerative medicine. He received his medical degree from the Indiana University and completed his PM&R residency and sports medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
