Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. List common sonographic findings of patellar tendinopathy, Achilles tendinopathy, and plantar fasciopathy.
  2. Recognize that sonographic abnormalities of the patellar tendon, Achilles tendon, and plantar fascia, ,may be identified prior to onset of symptoms and are associated with an increased risk of injury development.
  3. Describe the potential value of preseason ultrasound screening for high-level athletes.
  4. Examine the latest advancements in ACL biotherapy.
  5. Compare efficacy and safety of the novel biotherapeutics.
  6. Recognize main challenges in implementing biotherapeutic strategies in clinical practice.
