Review hemostasis in the critically ill, including fundamental coagulation tests.
Review the management of coagulation abnormalities in non-bleeding patients, with a specific emphasis on plasma transfusion.
Discuss prothrombin complex concentrates and their role in the management of coagulation abnormalities.
Briefly discuss point-of-care whole blood testing.
