DESCRIPTION

Critical Care Grand Rounds is a weekly forum to discuss challenging cases and share experiences in management of patients and to discuss any particularly unique, innovative, or challenging cases.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for critical care staff, residents, fellows, and allied health staff that work in the critical care setting.  

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the long term outcomes of survivors of critical illness
  • Review application of ethical principals to the care of ICU patients
  • Assess the evidence guiding the management of patients with ARDS
  • Recognize the impact of changes to resuscitation guidelines on Code Blue management
