DESCRIPTION
In this monthly series, a multidisciplinary team of presenters review an assigned case, and present a systematic analysis of what factors contributed to the adverse/undesired patient outcome. Literature review and data is then presented to discuss what changes could prevent medical errors and system breakdowns in the future. Finally, attendees collaborate and propose practice changes.

In-Person and Live-Streamed; Monthly on Wednesday from 4:00-5:00 p.m.
 
TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Resident Fellows. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Analyze ICU case outcomes to identify clinical, procedural, and system-level factors contributing to morbidity and mortality.
• Evaluate adverse events and near misses to determine evidence-based strategies for improving patient safety and quality of care.
• Apply lessons learned from case discussions to future clinical decision-making and patient management in critical care practice.
• Synthesize multidisciplinary perspectives to develop collaborative approaches for addressing complex ICU challenges.
• Reflect on personal and team performance to foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement in critical care.
