DESCRIPTION
This activity has been designed to share findings in the science of health care delivery and their application with both health care providers and scientists. It will provide very concrete examples of health services research that has been implemented in the practice as well as research that is well-positioned to influence health care policy (regional and national). Topics to be discussed will revolve around the Triple Aim; improving patient experience, improving the health of the population and reducing the total cost of care. These will be positioned with examples taken from different institutions in the context of health economics, qualitative research, systems engineering, clinical statistics, implementation science, sociology and clinical informatics.

This course is intended for Health Services Researchers, Operations Research Professionals, Health Care Systems Engineers, Academics, Health Care Providers, Research Analysts, Health Care Economists, Graduate Students, Informaticists, Health IT experts, Health Professionals, Clinicians (physicians, nurses, technicians, students).
