DESCRIPTION
Critical review and discussion of pertinent research studies in cardiovascular medicine and its clinical implications as well as providing education on cutting edge scientific evidence and basis for clinical decisions in cardiology.  

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for Cardiovascular disease trainees (residents and fellows, MD, DO & NP); Cardiovascular specialists (physicians, APRNs, PAs, Allied health staff); Students (medical students, MPH and PhD students)

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Describe research study objectives and results 
• Analyze the potential clinical impact of research study findings in specific patient populations
• Formulate a clear plan to incorporate robust research findings into clinical practice as appropriate to improve patient care
