DESCRIPTION
MCF CVM-GR is a monthly didactic lecture series that alternates between distinguished guest speakers and our own faculty and fellows presenting on a broad range of topics that directly impact clinical practice in CVM at MCF.  As a top-ranked academic department, there is an expectation that all department members, including cardiology faculty, fellows, ARNPs, RNs, medical residents and students on cardiology rotations, and technicians in the catheterization, echo, EP and exercise labs participate in this educational experience, which earns them CME credit.  The Cardiothoracic Surgery Department, for whom the topics presented are equally germane to clinical/surgical practice are also specifically invited to CVM-GRs. The goal of CVM-GR is not only to keep the Department up to date on all recent advances in therapeutic options and strategies that immediately impact our day-to-day practice, but also to present "hot-topics" that keep us on the forefront of innovation in CVM.
