AZ DLMP Grand Rounds meets the first Tuesday of every month from 11 am - 12 noon. A broad range of relevant and practical topics in anatomic pathology, laboratory medicine, and hematopathology are presented.  

The intensity of the clinical work often takes precedence over formal continuing education activities in the MCA DLMP. While one-on-one teaching routinely occurs over the microscope or in a personal office setting, a dedicated forum for systematically presenting current practice guidelines/standards, novel diagnostic methods, and active research activities/interests/opportunities is more ideal for promoting team work and cross-discipline collaboration. The DLMP grand rounds series provides such a venue for the consultant staff and also provides a valuable opportunity to acquire CME credits to use toward maintenance of medical licensure and board certification.
