Objectives: 

  • To recognize the importance of uncertainty in shared decision making
  • To access the different ways in which uncertainty
  • To interpret and contrast various approaches to incorporating uncertainty within shared decision making
  • To consider how different health care providers might approach uncertainty differently, e.g., nurses as opposed to physicians.
