Title: Non-Invasive Prenatal Screening (NIPS) at Mayo Clinic

- Understand the principle of the NGS counting method for the identification of fetal trisomies in cell-free DNA from maternal circulation.
- To appreciate the intricacies of assay verification when developing a NIPS assay
- To understand what the fetal fraction is, how it is measured, and why it is important
