Title: Granulomatous Lung Disease: Narrowing Your Differential Diagnosis

Learning Objectives - Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

1.  List the distinguishing morphologic characteristics of various specific causes of granulomatous lung disease
2.  Form a targeted and narrow differential diagnosis for granulomas showing the following characteristics:
  • Well-formed non-necrotizing granulomas
  • Necrotizing granulomas
  • Poorly formed granulomas
3.  Demonstrate appropriate use of ancillary studies to narrow the differential diagnosis of granulomatous lung disease
