DESCRIPTION
Emergency medicine grand rounds is a weekly conference series offered to the Mayo Clinic enterprise emergency department practice. The conference series is geared to improve the practice of emergency medicine, covering a broad list of topics of relevant specialties related to ED care and delivery; this list of topics includes but is not limited to patient safety, quality improvement and teamwork.

In-Person and Live-Streamed; Weekly on Tuesday's from 10:00-11:00 a.m.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Resident Fellows, Scientist Researcher PhDs, Social Workers and Students.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Identify clinical care that is more congruent with current clinical scientific evidence.
  • Review how to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
