DESCRIPTION
Mayo Clinic Arizona in collaboration with Arizona State University (ASU) faculty and students will utilize project ECHO to partner with selected providers throughout Arizona in order to improve the management of end stage liver disease and increase access to tertiary care hepatobiliary services. In addition to the case presentations and discussion, formal lectures on pertinent topics in liver diseases will be given and the slides will be made available on a website which will be available to all participants. 
 
TARGET AUDIENCE
Physicians, physicians assistants, nurse practitioners & RNs who may be treating patients with end stage liver disease
 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:  

  1. Recognize the importance of  surveillance for hepatocellular carcinoma patients with end-stage liver disease
  2. Implement surveillance with every 6 months imaging patients with HCC
  3. Recognize the significance of a liver lesion in a patient with end stage liver disease
