DESCRIPTION
Monthly conference with the goal of educating those who have an interest in endocrinology.
 
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended primarily for allied health staff, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, registered dieticians, and resident/fellows.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Define appropriate management of complex endocrinopathies based on latest treatment guidelines.
  • Identify the key strategies to best communicate with patients and establish an effective relationship.
  • Practice a smooth transition of care for patients with pediatric endocrinopathies. 
  • Determine proper acute inpatient management of diabetes mellitus, and related comorbidities.
  • Determine proper acute inpatient management of endocrinopathies.
