DESCRIPTION
The department strives to update departmental members on topics relevant to primary care, including new clinical guidelines, procedures, therapies, techniques, and specialty interface.

In-person and Live-streamed; Monthly; 1st Thursday from 7:00-8:00 a.m.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Allied Health Professionals, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Students. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify current LDL goals for patients based on CV risk
  • Integrate alternative lipid-lowering medications in order to reach LDL goal
  • Implement the current therapeutic options available for lipid management in high to very high risk patients
