DESCRIPTION
This monthly CSS is a new educational lecture series that will provide a primary-care based review of medical topics that will fill knowledge gaps and augment the knowledge base of its attendees.
In-Person and Live-Streamed; Monthly on alternating Tuesdays and Thursdays
TARGET AUDIENCE
Nurses, Nurse Practioners, Pharmacists, Physicians, and Physician Assistants
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify common prescription medications, over‑the‑counter products, and dietary supplements that patients frequently use but may not disclose during primary care visits.
- Apply improved documentation practices and workflow strategies to ensure consistent capture of all medications and supplements in the electronic health record.
- Cite clear, patient‑centered education about the risks, benefits, and safe use of supplements and medications to support informed decision‑making.
