Advances in Family Medicine 2018 – Albert Lea - General Session

Advances in Family Medicine is a one day course designed for the family medicine physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner and nurses. This course will provide attendees with current and relevant updates for daily care and management of various patient health concerns in primary care. Time is allocated for questions and discussion.

Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
Define ways to manage abscesses in the outpatient setting
Describe the diagnosis of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis with early management and when to refer
Review the current recommendations for screening for colon cancer with updates on newer technologies
