DESCRIPTION
This is a General Surgery Grand Rounds Series that offers presentation and education to Department of Surgery Faculty and Residents.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended primarily for internal physicians, fellows, residents, and mid-level providers.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of the controversies existing in general surgery
- Recognize the influence of image interpretation in the surgical decision making process
- Identify ways to collaborate with colleagues for multidisciplinary patient care
- Demonstrate the need for standardized systems processes streamlining patient care pathways
