Jacksonville, FL US
June 8, 2019

Course Directors: William C. Palmer, M.D.Michael J. Schuh, Pharm.D., R.Ph.

This is a multidisciplinary course review of pharmacogenomics testing and its application to clinical practice. The use of pharmacogenomics in patient care has seen rapid growth due to the recent emergence of pharmacogenomics science and the decline in test pricing. Over 250 medications now contain pharmacogenomic data in their prescribing information. Furthermore, the Mayo Clinic RIGHT study, (Right Drug, Right Dose, Right Time--Using Genomic Data to Individualize Treatment) showed that of the 1013 participants, 99% carried at least one actionable variant. The case-based sessions and basic concept review are designed for the busy clinician and other members of the healthcare team. Learn how you can apply pharmacogenomic (PGX) testing to your busy practice by joining us at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida on June 8, 2019!

*ABIM MOC is offered as an optional addition to the course with an aditional $50 registration fee. If you are interested in obtaining ABIM MOC, please select both the General Session and the ABIM MOC options under the registration tab here.
