Mayo Clinic's 30th Annual Hematology/Oncology Reviews 2020 in Amelia Island, Florida is a comprehensive review of hematology/oncology that focuses on the application of new clinical and research advancements and developments over the preceding year. The most important clinical management questions in hematology/oncology will be addressed in highly interactive sessions. Attendees will leave with up-to-date, practical information which will have immediate clinical application. Attendees are encouraged to bring portable computer devices to view the syllabus on the course website. It is strongly encouraged that you download the syllabus from the website prior to the course. Simulation Center Education Session

This optional hands-on workshop in the Mayo Clinic Simulation Center will engage participants in interactive education sessions covering marrow procedures, Ommaya reservoir and LP chemotherapy procedures and enactment of diagnostic dilemmas.
21st Annual Fellows Research Poster Presentation
As part of the 30th Annual Mayo Clinic Hematology/Oncology Reviews course, the 21st Annual Fellows Research Poster Presentation session for presentation of original research dedicated to the field of hematology/oncology will be held at the meeting on July 31, 2020. Participation in the Simulation Center Education session on July 29th is required.

Target Audience
This course is designed for practicing hematologists, medical oncologists, scientists, researchers, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists and clinical research associates.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- List new practice-changing developments in hematology and medical oncology in 2019-2020
- Select the appropriate clinical conditions in oncology and hematology using newly developed 2019 and 2020 treatments
- Identify risks and benefits of new treatments approved by the FDA
- Describe the most important management issues in hematology and oncology and select the best treatments based on current evidence

Location

The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island is offering coastal view hotel rooms for attendees and their guests at the group rate of $275 per night plus applicable taxes. In order to receive the special rate, identify yourself as a participant of the “Mayo Clinic's 30th Annual Hematology/Oncology Reviews” or register online. Reservations must be made by Tuesday, July 7, 2020 or before the room block is filled, whichever comes first. There is limited guest room availability at the special rates; early reservations are based on availability. The standard hotel reservations cancellation policy will apply to all reservations. Attendees are responsible for their own reservations. Guests receive complimentary in-room internet service. Rooms are limited so we encourage early booking. All parking at the resort is provided by valet service. Overnight parking at the resort is $12 per night. Day guest parking is complimentary.
