Though we are unable to meet together in Hawaii, the 33rd Annual Selected Topics in Internal Medicine (STIM) will still take place in 2021! Don't miss this opportunity to network with colleagues and interact with faculty in this comprehensive and engaging livestream CME course.

STIM is a postgraduate course designed to update general internists, internist-subspecialists, family medicine specialists, and other primary health care professionals on timely and relevant selected internal medicine topics that can be immediately applied to your practice. This year's program includes sessions on a wide array of general internal medicine, cardiology, immunology, pulmonology, spine care, endocrinology, urology, gastroenterology, psychiatry and women's health topics; plus sessions on practice refinement, webside manner and more.

Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Summarize recent updates, clinical studies, and new guidelines that impact practice in general medicine.
  • Review updates and clinical practice strategies in the areas of general internal medicine, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, endocrinology, rheumatology, dermatology, cardiology, pulmonology, hematology, geriatrics, perioperative medicine, psychiatry and neurology.
  • Describe management options for heart failure and chronic coronary artery disease.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 23 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Participation information will be shared with ABIM through PARS.
