Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Differentiate the appropriate use of multiplex PCR panels for diagnosis of infections.
  • Identify updated imaging and treatment modalities for infective endocarditis.
  • Define the approach to management of prosthetic joint infections.
  • Describe new antifungals for management of resistant and difficult to treat fungal infections.
  • Discuss diagnosis and management of Chaga’s Disease and Leprosy.
