Tuberculin Skin Test Training – Train the Trainer and TB Skin Test Practicum Teach Back – Guam 2017

This course is free of charge and you will receive an access code in order to register.

This three-day intensive course will provide training that imparts the skills and materials needed for trainers to present a Mantoux Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) course.   It is designed to provide the learners with the information needed to deliver a training course for TB skin testing and/or certification.  On the third day of the course,  attendees will teach back the curriculum learned in days one and two to healthcare workers from Guam. This will include how to administer, read, and interpret tuberculin skin tests.

Jointly provided by Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development and Mayo Continuing Nursing Education.

Mayo Continuing Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Participants can earn 12.25 ANCC nursing contact hours for attendance at the entire conference and completion of the teach back.
