This one-day intensive course will familiarize the primary care clinician with all aspects of tuberculosis infection, disease and clinical care using an interdisciplinary and interactive approach. The course is designed for primary care physicians who provide healthcare for patients with tuberculosis and may not have expertise in managing the disease.  The content includes all aspects of tuberculosis epidemiology, transmission, diagnosis, treatment, medication review and case management.  The curriculum is provided through lecture and interactive case management sessions. The faculty is selected for their unique skills in encouraging interaction and building rapport with participants.
