Target Audience
This multidisciplinary course is intended for healthcare professionals who care for patients with wounds. Disciplines include physicians, pedorthists, podiatrists, advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs), WOCs, CNSs, RNs, LPNs, physical therapists, dietitians, medical trainees (medical students, residents, fellows, etc.) and others who care for patients with wounds.
Learning Objectives
- Recognize diagnostic approaches to management of foot ulcerations in the setting of peripheral arterial disease and critical limb ischemia.
- Identify surgical, medical management and other treatment modalities for complex wounds.
- Recognize advanced methods for noninvasive tools for prevention and identification prior to wound development.
