DESCRIPTION
The MCHS AI Fireside Chat Series is a quarterly educational offering featuring Mayo Clinic experts on AI, Analytics, and Automation. The sessions focus on making these technologies approachable, highlighting practical applications for community and rural healthcare practice. These interactive sessions are open to all MCHS staff.

Live-Streamed; Every two months; Second to last Friday from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

TARGET AUDIENCE
All MCHS staff and learners.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Describe the basics of AI, Analytics, and Automation and how these tools and technologies can be applied to medicine and healthcare administration to accelerate transformation. 
  • Identify the risks and benefits of AI in medicine and business.  
  • Identify tools and practices that promote safe and effective use of AI and Automation in healthcare. 
  • Develop bedside skills to discuss the role of AI in shared decision-making with patients.
