- Describe the updated PE classification framework and explain how risk stratification informs acute management decisions.
- Select evidence‑based treatments for acute pulmonary embolism, including anticoagulation, thrombolysis, and advanced therapies, based on patient risk and clinical context.
- Develop a comprehensive post‑PE management and discharge plan, incorporating duration of anticoagulation, follow‑up, patient education, and prevention of recurrence.
