  • Elucidate the role of early life stress on brain-gut interactions and the development of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
  • Review the evidence of a dysregulated stress response and epigenetic mechanisms in IBS
  • Discuss the association of decreased resilience in IBS and its impact on symptoms
