Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize the patients who are at risk for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)
  • Review noninvasive methods to assess liver disease severity in NAFLD
  • Employ risk stratification algorithms to determine need for hepatology referral
  • Demonstrate management strategies pertinent to each discipline in the care of NAFLD patients
