Learning Objectives:

  • Identify and evaluate common clinical presentations of sarcoidosis and sarcoid-like reactions
  • Improve the differential diagnosis of sarcoidosis and recognize that the presence of non-necrotizing granulomas is not patognomonic of sarcoidosis
  • Recognize the most common characteristics of cutaneous manifestations and cardiac complications
  • Identify the main indication for treatment and establish appropriate patient monitoring
