Learning Objectives - Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

1.Discuss the epidemiology of peripheral vascular disease and its effect on both morbidity and mortality.

2.    Identify signs, symptoms, and physical exam findings to support your diagnosis of peripheral vascular disease

3.    Interpret diagnostic studies commonly used in peripheral vascular disease.

4.    Identify less commonly encountered types of peripheral vascular disease including acute and critical limb ischemia, subclavian steal syndrome, acquired arteriovenous fistula of the lower extremity, and Raynaud phenomenon

5.    Discuss the use of conservative, medical, and percutaneous intervention in the treatment of peripheral vascular disease.
