This session will provide an overview of common congenital defects and their repairs/palliations including the long term effects of these procedures to include what providers should consider when assessing these patients later in life.

1) Outline the anatomy of adults with congenital heart disease after they have been repaired or palliated.
2) Recognize the potential systemic complications of adults with congenital heart disease after repair or palliation.
