Convergence calls for groups within the biomedical, life sciences, physical science, engineering and other fields to come together to solve unmet health needs. This conference aims to bring together various scientists with the aim of discovery of education gaps inherent to one’s own discipline as well as the potential for creative collaboration in shared problem solving.

Abstracts: Deadline October 5, 2018
As part of Mayo Clinic Convergence Neuroscience course, the course co-directors will review submitted abstracts centered on neuroscience, translational science, and specialized laboratories.  Accepted presentations will be presented verbally as on screen PowerPoint electronic presentations. The submission deadline for abstracts is Friday, October 5, 2018.
At least one of the authors must register and attend the conference

A block of coastal view rooms, single/double/triple/quad occupancy are reserved for attendees and their guests at the group rate of $269 per night, plus tax. Call reservations at 866-763-2960 and identify yourself as a participant of the Mayo Clinic Convergence Neuroscience course or reserve on-line.  In order to receive the special group rate, reservations must be made before the room block is filled or before Friday, October 5, 2018, whichever comes first. Early reservations are recommended due to the limited number of rooms available. Check-in time is after 4 p.m. and check-out time is before 11:00 a.m.. All parking at the resort is provided by valet service. Overnight parking at the resort is $14 per night. Day guest parking is complimentary. Guests will also receive complimentary in room internet service. Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is located 35 minutes from The Ritz-Carlton at Amelia Island.

Lodging arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.
