Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Cite the mechanism of action, indications, and adverse events associated with recently-approved MS and autoimmune neurology disease-modifying therapies
  • Describe the clinical, laboratory and neuroimaging characteristics of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders
  • Implement strategies for selecting first and subsequent disease-modifying therapies for patients with relapsing or progressive MS
  • Describe the clinical, laboratory and neuroimaging characteristics of myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein-associated disorders
  • Identify appropriate management of common MS symptoms
