Learning Objectives:

  • Review NCS guideline on reversal methods for antithrombotics during intracranial bleeding
  • Outline evidence based strategies that reverse blood thinning agents such as warfarin and antiplatelet agents
  • Review current research on these topics including newer anticoagulants such as dabigatran
