Learning Objectives:

• Review literature about external ventricular drain (EVD) and safety concerns with mobilizingEVD patients
• Outline a Mayo IRB approved study which reviewed the safety of mobilizing neuro/neurosurgery patients with EVDs in our NeuroICU
• Discuss future directions of EVD mobilization
