“Practical Clinical Neurology ”

Dr. Mauricio is a graduate of Villanova University and New York Medical College. She completed her Preliminary Year in Internal Medicine at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut before moving south. She completed her Neurology Residency and Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic Florida, where she is currently on staff as an Assistant Professor of Neurology. She enjoys taking care of general neurology as well as neuromuscular patients, performing EMGs and transcranial magnetic stimulation, and participating in Mayo Clinic’s telestroke program. She works closely with the residents and is currently the Associate Program Director of the Neurology Residency and Chair of the Neurology Curriculum Committee.
Learning Objectives:
Define areas of new neuroscience knowledge and research
Understand Clinicopathologic (CPC) correlations of neurologic disease
Illuminate areas of practice-based improvement within the neurosciences based on advancing scientific research or Practice-based improvement projects.
