Iris Marin Collazo, M.D., presents:
“Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder: Mortality and Clinical Outcomes”
Dr. Vanessa Marin is currently a Multiple Sclerosis fellow at the Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minnesota. She graduated from University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor degree in Chemistry in 2005 and worked as chemist analyst in the pharmaceutical and food industry. She attended medical school at Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico and completed Neurology residency at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Marin current research is focused on the long term clinical outcomes in Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder.
Learning objectives:
Define areas of new neuroscience knowledge and research
Identify Clinicopathologic (CPC) correlations of neurologic disease
Illuminate areas of practice-based improvement within the neurosciences based on advancing scientific research or Practice-based improvement projects.
