"Interpreting EEGs: Pearls and Pitfalls"

Learning objectives:

  • Review how to optimize EEG display to resolve origin or nature of EEG waveforms (e.g. frequency filters, gain settings)
  • Use video recording to determine the implication of EEG activities of interest
  • Recognize how to detect focal seizures that may be subclinical
  • Apply principles in diagnosing paroxysmal events
