Title:  The Role of Procalcitonin in Diagnosing Bacterial Meningitis

  • Review current literature regarding the utility of procalcitonin in evaluating patients suspected to have bacterial meningitis
  • Discuss the role of serum procalcitonin as a clinical tool for early identification of bacterial meningitis
