DESCRIPTION
The neuroscience neurosurgery lecture series offers education about a broad range of neuroscience and neurosurgery topics and subspecialties (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, migraine, epilepsy, stroke, brain tumors). In addition this event involves the neurology/neurosurgery residency program. Neurology residents perform one clinicopathological conference (CPC) during the residency, and make case correlations with other disciplines such as neuropathology, neuroradiology and neuro-ophthalmology. Occasionally invited outside visiting professors are invited to speak on a late-breaking science or clinical update.
