DESCRIPTION
This case based RSS provides Mayo staff the opportunity to discuss challenging cases on a monthly basis.  Thus providing the opportunity to improve patient outcomes through diverse discussions of patient management with a multi-disciplinary audience.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended primarily for Neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuroradiologists, neuropathologists, radiation/oncologists. residents and fellows.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify optimal patients for neurosurgical treatment.
  • Assess complex patient presentations, radiographs including CT, MR, x-rays, and design optimal treatment plans, as well as management of complications.
  • Improve patient outcomes by continually working as a team to review patient experiences, outcomes and treatment options.
