Mayo Clinic Care Network The Now What Program: Bold and Forward Leadership During Disruption

The Now What Program: Bold and Forward Leadership During Disruption brings key leadership teams of the Mayo Clinic Care Network together with leaders from Mayo Clinic to examine, plan, and create action toward attaining complex strategic goals. During the program, dyads and triads of physician, nursing, and administrative leaders from the Mayo Clinic Care Network will learn alongside other leaders and work on a project related to a complex organizational challenge their leadership team encounters.
 

Target Audience

This course is designed for dyads and triads of physician, nursing, and administrative leaders from the Mayo Clinic Care Network.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify situations where they need to step back to apply a collaborative decision-making process, and situations where they need to simply step up and decide.
  • Use process to construct a shared reality, generate multiple options, and plan a way forward to action for complex challenges.
  • Identify how to bring their executive team and their organization/department/service line together to align behind organizational mission and values.
  • Identify and diffuse tactics which prevent optimal results.
  • Create a process of engagement to decrease burnout and accomplish key strategies.
  • Develop clinical leadership dyad/triad models to address organizational priorities.

Live Activities:
Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to cme@mayo.edu. When cancelling a registration for a course 14 days or more before the course start date, a full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee) will be issued in the same form of payment the registration was received. No refunds are granted less than 14 days before the course start date.

Online/Enduring Material Activities:
Customers may cancel their participation from an online activity if no credit has been claimed and a written request is made within 30 days of purchase. A full refund minus a maximum $75.00 administrative fee will be provided. Administrative fees might be lower on activities that were initially $150 or less.
