Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Recognize the importance of air quality in health outcomes and current community efforts
• Demonstrate that monitoring ambient air quality in our community is feasible, and summarize a pilot study measuring indoor and outdoor NO2 levels in residences of children with asthma
• Plan a clinical trial assessing whether an air purifier can reduce indoor air pollutants in homes with asthmatic children located in areas with poor outdoor air quality
