Cardiac Rhythm Device 2022 CNE Conference

This in person CNE conference is designed to enhance clinical practice to care for patients with cardiac implantable devices. Topics include cyber security, PTSD and body image, programming pacemaker/ICD devices, artificial intelligence, device advisories and recalls, infection, and end of life care.

- To protect our communities, learners, and staff, effective March 1, 2022, all Mayo Clinic live (in-person) conference attendees must complete COVID-19 testing within 72 hours or less of the event start date and provide attestation that a negative test result was received OR provide attestation that a lab-confirmed positive COVID-19 test result was received within the previous 90 days, that it has been at least 10 days since the positive test, and that you are currently asymptomatic.

Target Audience
This live CNE conference is designed for nurses in heart rhythm services and cardiology.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Outline technology advancements enhancing care of patients with cardiac devices
- Describe strategies for having sensitive conversations with cardiac device patients
- List key elements and processes for programming cardiac devices
- Identify ways for all roles to work at the top of scope of licensure

If the cancellation is made prior to the start of the activity, a refund less an administration fee of $25 will be issued. If the cancellation is made after the start of the activity, no refund will be issued. All refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment.
