Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Define the updated definition of a sport-related concussion
  • Summarize the recommendations from the 6th International Conference on Concussion in Sport regarding sport-related concussion prevention, removal from play, assessment, recovery, rehabilitation and return to sport
  • Compare differences between the concussion assessment tools SCAT5 and the updated SCAT6
  • Describe the evaluation of a sport-related concussion in office using the SCOAT6
