Mayo Clinic’s Urgent Care Updates course is designed for the acute/urgent care provider and uses relevant lectures along with panel and roundtable discussions to provide opportunities to interact with faculty.
Target Audience
This course is designed for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses in primary care, emergency medicine, and urgent care.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Review major changes in the management of patients with anaphylaxis
- Determine key elements to mastering orthopedic exam skills
- Identify common ECG abnormalities
- Manage common pediatric rashes
- Identify ways to manage patients with acute headaches
- Manage acute conditions commonly seen in primary and urgent care settings
- Discuss the evaluation and management of sports-related dermatology
