Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Summarize the accuracy of focused cardiovascular ultrasound by a novice user to detect moderate or greater aortic valve stenosis
- Identify clinical features that should raise suspicion for mitochondrial disease in patients with cardiomyopathy and multisystem manifestations.
- Describe the diagnostic approach and management considerations for mitochondrial disease unmasked after heart transplantation.
- Describe the findings on novice-acquired focused cardiovascular ultrasound that associates with invasive findings at right heart catheterization
