Mayo Clinic's Clinical Updates in Allergy and Immunology 2027 held in Huntington Beach, California, and via livestream, is designed to deliver a present-day understanding of allergic disorders with an emphasis on the translation of allergy knowledge to clinical practice.  This structured theme-based program includes evidence-based and emerging clinical approaches presented by expert faculty from several specialties which intersect allergy, including pulmonary medicine, ENT (ear, nose and throat), GI, dermatology, and other medical specialties to provide a comprehensive and multidisciplinary perspective on allergic disorders. Participants will be presented with practical, evidence-based knowledge and clinical insights that can be readily applied in every patient care.

This year's course will focus on skin and related allergic diseases, as well as other common allergy conditions. The course will be held in person in Huntington Beach, California, and we look forward to welcoming you for an informative and engaging learning experience. 

Target Audience

This course is designed for allergists, internists, family medicine physicians, and pediatricians. Nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and others involved in primary care with a specific interest in allergy may also benefit from this course.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this dermatology-allergy themed CME activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize common dermatologic manifestation of allergic and immunologic disease.
  • Apply practical approaches to the evaluation and management of allergic skin conditions. 
  • Describe updates in the diagnosis and treatment of common allergic disorders, including asthma, rhinitis, food allergy, drug allergy, eosinophilic disease, and immune deficiency. 
  • Evaluate use of new and emerging therapies into patient-centered allergy practice.
